Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel contract at a Level 1 academic medical center, with ACLS required and weekend call responsibilities.
Details
- Position is in a Cardiac Cath Lab at a 356-bed non-profit, academic, and research medical center providing tertiary care
- Facility is a Level 1 trauma center affiliated with a major university school of medicine
- Mid shift schedule: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday (5x8-hour shifts)
- One weekend of call per month, totaling 2 days of call
- Average daily census of 15–18 cases
- Unit procedures include: TAVR, right and left heart catheterization, diagnostics, Impella insertion, ECMO, IABP, TEE, cardioversion, EP ablations, pacemakers, ICD implants, Watchman, MitraClips, coronary angiography, ECHO, and lead extractions and reimplantation
- Charting is performed using Epic
Requirements
- Active MO or Compact RN license required
- Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
- Preferred certifications: NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) and TNCC
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience required
- Circulating and scrub skills required
- Level 1 trauma experience required
- Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- Free onsite parking is available
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with the initial application; any RTO requested after submission is at the manager's discretion
- Pending MO or Compact RN license is accepted
