Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications, with every-other-weekend and every-other-holiday scheduling.

Details

Position is based in a hospital Emergency Department (Main ED)
Shift hours are 10:30–23:00 (evening into night shift)
Every other weekend (EOW) required
Every other holiday (EOH) required
26-week contract

Requirements

Active IA or Compact RN license required
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required
Current PALS or ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course) certification required for ED RNs
TNCC certification required
NIHSS certification required
COVID vaccination card required
Two professional references required

Additional Information

Local candidates are accepted in Iowa (IA); a local pay rate may apply
License verification must be dated within 30 days of start date; NURSYS verification is preferred for RNs where available

Amanda has been awesome throughout my assignment. She checks in regularly with a call or text just to see how things are going and make sure I don’t need anything. That level of support has really stood out to me. I’m rly happy I chose American Traveler for my first assignment, and I wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again.
