Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with strong neuro/spine experience for a 13-week travel assignment requiring a MO or Compact RN license.
Details
- Position is in a hospital Operating Room (OR) setting
- Strong neuro/spine OR experience is required for this role
- Schedule is days, 4x10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
- On-call availability is required
- Weekend work is required as assigned
- Holiday coverage is required for at least 50% of holidays occurring during the contract
- Cerner charting experience is preferred but not required
Requirements
- Active MO or Compact RN license currently in hand (no pending licenses)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, with at least 1 year of OR-specific experience
- Strong neuro/spine OR experience required
- Must provide 2 professional references
- Physical requirements include ambulating, reaching, and lifting/moving objects weighing 20 lbs or more
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates living within 75 miles of the facility are eligible to apply but may be subject to a reduced pay rate
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed prior to acceptance of the position
- Role involves potential exposure to contagious illnesses in a 24/7 healthcare environment
