Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Outpatient Birth and Family Clinic position in Edmonds, WA, requiring Labor & Delivery and outpatient clinic experience with Epic proficiency.

- Outpatient Birth and Family Clinic setting in Edmonds, WA
- Labor and Delivery outpatient focus serving a women's health patient population
- 4x10-hour shifts, Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM, with flexibility to cover Mondays as needed
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- Floating between facilities within the state is expected as needed and within skillset
- Epic EMR — experience required
Requirements
- Active WA state or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- Outpatient clinic experience required
- Labor & Delivery experience required
- Triage (including telephone triage) experience required
- Experience working with higher patient ratios is ideal
- Proficiency in Epic EMR required
- Required clinical skills: patient assessment (height/weight, vital signs, pain assessment, pulse oximetry, PHQ/history/allergies), interpretation of laboratory results, hypertension management, external fetal heart monitoring (EFM), and medication administration (intradermal, IM, IV infusions, subcutaneous)
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- Any color scrubs are acceptable
- Former permanent staff at this health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Previous experience at a Providence facility (permanent, travel, or per-diem) must be disclosed, including location and dates
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Open to local and non-local candidates, as well as true travelers
- Preferred skills include patient education (particularly around lifestyle and medication adherence) and participation in quality improvement initiatives
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
