Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on the 4N unit, requiring 2 years of experience and night shift availability with weekend rotation.

• Acute care hospital setting, Med/Surg unit (4N)
• 12-hour night shifts with weekends as scheduled
• 13-week contract
• Epic EMR used in this position

Requirements

• Active WV or Compact RN license required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Valid Driver's License required

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
• Travelers who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before reapplying
• Travelers may not work within the WVU system for more than one cumulative year without a 2-year break
• Two supervisor/peer references required — if the candidate worked at a permanent facility within the last 12 months, one reference must be from that facility
• Work history covering the past 7 years (or since graduation, whichever is less) is required, with no gaps greater than 30 days
• A skills checklist completed within the past year is required for consideration
• Copies of all certifications and a valid Driver's License are required for consideration
