Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Med/Surg travel contract on a general medicine unit, working night shifts with every third weekend required.

Details

General medicine unit (4 NW) in a hospital setting
Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
36 hours per week
Every third weekend required
13-week contract

Requirements

Active Illinois (IL) RN license required
BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
COVID vaccination card required for consideration

Additional Information

Provides direct patient care in a general medicine setting
Local candidates are eligible for this position at a local rate

Cons

While the customer service is great, the agency itself doesn’t support onboarding orientation or medical screening financially. So I would advise to set aside some money to cover those bills until your contract starts.
