Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum) travel position requiring a minimum of 3 years of RN experience and an active WA or compact RN license.
Details
- Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit setting combining L&D and Mother-Baby nursing care
- Night shift schedule
- 13-week contract with 36 hours per week
Requirements
- Active WA state or compact RN license currently in hand
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
- BLS (HCP level, AHA or equivalent) required within 30 days of start
- ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire
- NRP (Advanced, AAP) required prior to end of orientation
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring) required within 3 months of completing L&D training
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school
- Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs independently and up to 300 lbs with assistance
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform patient care activities for 8–12 hour shifts
- Ability to perform CPR and manage multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously
Additional Information
- Functions as both bedside caregiver and care manager, including delegation, coordination, and supervision of other care team members
- May be required to serve in a Charge Nurse capacity, including patient assignment, coordinating coverage, and leading the unit
- STABLE course completion within 6 months of orientation (optional)
- RN-C specialty certification preferred
- Up to 24 hours of call-off may be available per month during the assignment
- DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
