Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position in Golden, CO, requiring at least 1 year of ICU experience and active CO or Compact RN licensure.
Details
- Hospital ICU setting
- 3x12-hour night shifts (1900–0730)
- 36 hours per week
- Weekend availability required
- Uses Epic for charting
- Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
- On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
Requirements
- Active CO or Compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
- Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
- Required certifications (all AHA): BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS — must not expire prior to start date
- ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for ICU patients
- Performs health teaching, counseling, and treatment monitoring
- Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients for further evaluation as needed
- Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Candidates who have been permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
