Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week day shift contract at an acute care Critical Access Hospital (CAH) using Epic EMR.

Acute care setting in a Respiratory Therapy unit at a Critical Access Hospital (CAH)
Day shift, Monday through Friday
8- or 12-hour shift lengths available
Epic EMR is used in this position

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience required
Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted)
License required if applicable
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted

Additional Information

13-week contract
12 hours of orientation required upon start
Candidates who have previously worked for this health system must have an end date at least 12 months prior to their submission date

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my first travel assignment. American Traveler has made the entire process feel easy from start to finish. Everything was explained clearly, and I always knew what the next step was, i never felt like i was left in the dark. One of my favorite things has been how communicative everyone is. Whether it’s my recruiter, Amanda, or Iranna from payroll, I always get a quick response when I have a question. It’s nice working with a team that actually follows up and keeps you in the loop. Amanda has been awesome throughout my assignment. She checks in regularly with a call or text just to see how things are going and make sure I don’t need anything. That level of support has really stood out to me. I’m rly happy I chose American Traveler for my first assignment, and I wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again.
