Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel Ultrasound Technologist for an outpatient setting requiring ARDMS certification with AB and RVT credentials and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Details
- Outpatient pavilion setting with potential to work in the hospital as needed
- Performs general and basic vascular ultrasound studies including abdomen, pelvis, small parts, carotid, and DVT extremities
- 5 ultrasound rooms with a daily caseload of approximately 60 studies
- Epic EMR used; experience preferred but not required — an online Epic orientation is provided on day one
- 4x10 hour day shifts, Tuesday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- ARDMS certification with AB required; RVT and OB credentials preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience
- Experience with GE LOGIQ ultrasound equipment
- Proficiency in general, abdomen, OB/GYN, renal/pelvic, small parts, carotid, and DVT extremity studies
- Active BLS certification
- Active VA or Compact license required (license required if applicable)
- PDF copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
- Any RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration — no RTO will be approved after offer
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Grey scrubs required
- Flu vaccine required during flu season (October 1 – March 31); medical or religious exemptions must comply with CMS guidelines
- COVID vaccination verification required; exemptions must comply with CMS guidelines
- This is a smoke- and nicotine-free facility
