Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Home Health RN for a 13-week travel contract in the Walnut Creek, CA area, requiring at least 1 year of home health experience and OASIS proficiency.

Details

  • Home health setting serving a primarily geriatric patient population
  • Territory covers Walnut Creek, Lafayette, Orinda, Moraga, and San Ramon (up to a 60-mile radius)
  • Productivity requirement of 30 patient points per week, approximately 5-6 patient points per day
  • Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00–17:00)
  • Two weekend days required per month
  • No on-call requirement
  • Charting via HCHB (Homecare Homebase)

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of recent home health RN experience required
  • OASIS experience required
  • HCHB (Homecare Homebase) experience required

Additional Information

  • Flexibility with assigned territory is expected
  • Scrubs in any color are required; jeans are not permitted
  • Mileage is reimbursed at the current IRS standard mileage rate
  • An iPad is provided; a cell phone is not provided
  • Any time off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my first travel assignment. American Traveler has made the entire process feel easy from start to finish. Whether it’s my recruiter, Amanda, or Iranna from payroll, I always get a quick response when I have a question. It’s nice working with a team that actually follows up and keeps you in the loop. Amanda has been awesome throughout my assignment. She checks in regularly with a call or text just to see how things are going and make sure I don’t need anything. That level of support has really stood out to me. I’m rly happy I chose American Traveler for my first assignment, and I wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again.
