Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Home Health RN for a 13-week travel contract in the Walnut Creek, CA area, requiring at least 1 year of home health experience and OASIS proficiency.

Details

Home health setting serving a primarily geriatric patient population
Territory covers Walnut Creek, Lafayette, Orinda, Moraga, and San Ramon (up to a 60-mile radius)
Productivity requirement of 30 patient points per week, approximately 5-6 patient points per day
Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00–17:00)
Two weekend days required per month
No on-call requirement
Charting via HCHB (Homecare Homebase)

Requirements

Active CA RN license required
Current BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of recent home health RN experience required
OASIS experience required
HCHB (Homecare Homebase) experience required

Additional Information

Flexibility with assigned territory is expected
Scrubs in any color are required; jeans are not permitted
Mileage is reimbursed at the current IRS standard mileage rate
An iPad is provided; a cell phone is not provided
Any time off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
Local candidates are accepted at the travel rate

Whether it’s my recruiter, Amanda, or Iranna from payroll, I always get a quick response when I have a question. It’s nice working with a team that actually follows up and keeps you in the loop. Amanda has been awesome throughout my assignment. She checks in regularly with a call or text just to see how things are going and make sure I don’t need anything. That level of support has really stood out to me. I’m rly happy I chose American Traveler for my first assignment, and I wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again.
