Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 2 years of experience in interventional cardiac procedures for a 13-week travel contract requiring ARRT, RCIS, or CCI certification.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab setting at an acute care facility
- Procedures include interventional cardiac, pacemaker and temporary pacemaker insertion, vascular, TAVR, Rotablator atherectomy, and ventricular assist device insertion
- 5x8-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- On-call required approximately 7–10 days per month, including one weekend per month
- Candidate must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
- Travel experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
- Must be able to scrub interventional cardiac cases, pacemaker procedures, and vascular cases
- ARRT (R), RCIS, or CCI certification required
- BLS and ACLS required
- ARRT required if no RCIS; RCIS required if no ARRT
- IV therapy skills required
- Permanent, in-hand state license required; temporary licenses are not accepted — license required if applicable
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Valid driver's license and Social Security card copies required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include scrubbing and circulating interventional cardiac procedures, pacemaker and temporary pacemaker insertions, TAVR, Rotablator atherectomy, ventricular assist device insertion, and vascular procedures
- Skills in IV therapy and assistance with central line insertion and management are expected
- Holiday rotation is required, with limited RTO during holiday periods
- Every other weekend coverage is required
- Pre-start facility modules are required and average approximately 4 hours to complete
