Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of radiology experience and ARRT certification for a 13-week travel contract.

Details

• Work setting includes adult ICU, adult outpatient, and ER/trauma environments
• 3x12 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM and/or 10:00 AM–10:30 PM
• Every 3rd weekend rotation required
• Occasional overnight call required
• Preferred equipment experience includes GE and Siemens MRI scanners and PACS
• Meditech EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• ARRT (MR) required; ARRT (R) may be considered with sufficient MRI experience
• Current BLS required
• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program; Associate degree or higher preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in radiology
• Ability to start peripheral IVs
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• License required if applicable

• Candidates who have worked permanently at this facility within the past 24 months will not be considered
• Holiday coverage is expected: plan to work one holiday if one falls within the assignment, one of two if two fall within the assignment, and two of three if three fall within the assignment; any RTO requests must be disclosed prior to placement
• Allied health professionals, including radiology, may start on Mondays or any other day of the week
• This facility has a zero-tolerance policy for THC; medical marijuana cards are not accepted, and a drug screen will be conducted during compliance and again on day one
• Fit testing is required; per facility policy, travelers must be clean-shaven for the fit test, or obtain an approved medical exemption letter from Employee Health Services prior to arriving onsite
