Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Float/Resource Pool - Telemetry position requiring advanced dysrhythmia competency and an active NH or Compact RN license.
Details
- Float/Resource Pool position within an acute care hospital setting
- 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
- Advanced telemetry monitoring with experience managing Cardizem drips, insulin drips (hyperglycemia), and Phenobarbital on telemetry
- Floating may be required to a nearby Laconia, NH facility location
- No on-call requirements
- Cerner EMR experience is preferred but not required
Requirements
- Active NH or Compact RN license required — temp licenses are not accepted
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2+ years of acute care experience in a telemetry or related specialty
- Advanced telemetry/dysrhythmia experience required — must pass the Relias Advanced Dysrhythmia Exam during onboarding
- NURSYS license verification report required for all active RN licenses
- 3 professional references required upon commitment (2 must be from leadership — manager or charge RN; no peers or coworkers)
Additional Information
- First-time travelers with strong relevant experience will be considered
- Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but will be placed at the local pay rate
- Weekly orientation provided
- Former permanent staff are eligible to return as travelers after a minimum 12-month break in service
- RTO (requested time off) must be disclosed upfront
