Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position in Lawton, OK, requiring at least 2 years of Cath Lab experience and proficiency with cardiac and peripheral interventional procedures.
Details
- Full-service Cath Lab utilizing Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and a General Surgeon, serving Southwest Oklahoma
- Procedures include Left Heart Cath, Right and Left Heart Cath, PTCA, Stenting, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, Carotid diagnostic and stenting, Peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures, Pacemaker Insertion, Tilt Table Testing, Kyphoplasty, and AV graft diagnostic, stent, and thrombectomy
- Equipment includes Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, various coronary and peripheral atherectomy devices, and two Siemens Artis Zee C-arms
- EMR/charting systems used: McKesson CPACS, McKesson Cardiology, and McKesson Hemodynamic System
- 8-hour day shift schedule, 5 days per week
- On-call required 7 days per month (non-consecutive), covering evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Weekend requirement is on-call only
Requirements
- Active RN license — Oklahoma state license or Compact license required
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
- Proficiency with cardiac and peripheral monitoring equipment, including atherectomy devices and LEXISCAN Stress Test monitoring
- Two supervisory reference forms dated within the last two years required for consideration
- Skills checklist current within the past year, pertinent to Cath Lab specialty, required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include patient monitoring in the Cath Lab, assisting in pre and post procedure areas, patient transport, and other assigned duties
- Recent travel nursing experience is preferred
- RTO requests are limited to no more than 5 days for the duration of the contract
- Local candidates will be considered at a reduced pay rate
