Description
American Traveler is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week acute care assignment requiring AHA BLS and GA licensure.
Details
- Acute care OT department supporting patients from physician orders throughout the hospital
- Wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses including ICU, stroke/neurological, orthopedic, and general debility patients
- 8-hour day shifts, schedule varies 8:00am–4:30pm
- 5 shifts per week
- 4 weekend shifts required per 4-week period
- 1 summer holiday shift required
- Charting in Cerner
Requirements
- Active Georgia OT license required (license required if applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care OT experience
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Driver's License required for consideration
- Permanent address, last 4 digits of SSN, email, and phone number required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a minimum 2-year break before being considered
- Any RTO requests must be submitted upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is accepted
- Cerner EMR experience should be listed in work history
