Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position in Robbinsdale, MN, requiring Epic experience and a rotating days/nights schedule with every weekend coverage.

Details

• Hospital ICU setting serving adult and geriatric patient populations
• Rotating days and nights schedule, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
• Every weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• May be required to float to other ICUs (TNICU, MICU) as well as M/S units based on staffing needs
• Uses Epic EMR (experience required)
• 13-week contract located in Robbinsdale, MN

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC) required
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
• Adult and geriatric population experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with fresh open heart surgery patients preferred
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation preferred
• Experience with Impella and balloon pumps preferred
• Current skills checklist (within 1 year) pertinent to ICU specialty required
• 2 supervisory references with dates of employment required

• Responsible for holistic, patient- and family-centered care including assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Develops and revises individualized plans of care and coordinates care across disciplines
• Participates in shared decision-making for nursing practice and contributes to improving care standards
• All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application, as they may not be honored if submitted after
