Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position in Arkansas requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, active AR or compact RN license, and on-call availability.

Details

• Cath Lab unit within a hospital setting
• Cardiac and special procedure patient population, including cardiovascular studies and interventions
• Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts (6:00 AM–4:30 PM) with day off varying
• On-call required approximately 9–10 days per month

Requirements

• Active AR RN license or compact state RN license in good standing
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
• ADN required at minimum; BSN or MSN preferred
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include direct patient care, medication administration, sterilization techniques, patient advocacy, and assisting physicians with Cath Lab procedures
• This position is designated safety sensitive under Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana
• Facility conducts its own on-site drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana — a positive result is an automatic cancellation with no exceptions
• Candidates should avoid any substances that could result in a positive drug screen upon arrival, including CBD products
• Local candidates (within 50 miles of the facility) are not accepted
