Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a short-term acute care hospital in Oregon, requiring LDRP with postpartum experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Labor & Delivery unit within a 109-bed short-term acute care hospital
- LDRP setting with postpartum patient population
- Staffing follows AWHONN standards
- Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
- Every other weekend required
- Floating between facilities within the state is expected
- On-call required: up to one on-call shift every two weeks based on low census
- Block schedules are not required
- EMR: Epic (experience required)
Requirements
- Active Oregon (OR) RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of L&D experience required; candidates with 1–1.5 years will be considered on a case-by-case basis
- LDRP experience with postpartum required
- Epic EMR experience required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
- All required certifications must be current and on file
Additional Information
- Scrubs are provided for this unit
- No parking fee
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Former permanent employees of this health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
- Former permanent employees must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Candidates who have previously worked at a Providence facility (permanent, travel, or per-diem) must disclose the location and dates of that employment
- Minimal RTO is preferred; excessive RTO requests may impact the hiring process
- Refusal to float between facilities may result in termination of the assignment
