Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience for a night shift travel assignment at a community hospital in Colorado.

Requirements
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required, with CRT required at time of hire and RRT required within 2 years
- Current, active, and unrestricted Colorado Respiratory Therapist license required (license required if applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant respiratory therapy experience
- Current BLS certification required; ACLS required within 6 months of employment
- NRP preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred
- DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
Additional Information
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments per protocol, including oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, IPPB treatments, chest physiotherapy, ventilator management, incentive spirometry, and sputum induction
- Perform cardiopulmonary diagnostics including ECGs, cardiac stress testing, Lexiscan, dipyridamole, dobutamine, stress echocardiograms, tilt tests, Holter scanning, pulmonary function testing, arterial blood gas sampling and analysis, bronchoscopy assistance, EEGs, home sleep studies, and home nocturnal oximetry
- Document patient records in accordance with departmental standards
