Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2+ years of Level-3 or higher ED experience and multiple advanced certifications including TNCC or ATCN.
Details
- Work in a 24-bed Emergency Department
- Patient population includes psychiatric, trauma, general medical, sepsis, cardiac, and stroke cases
- EMR: Epic (experience required)
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week
- Floating is rare but may occur to a freestanding ED or other units within the facility as helping hands
Requirements
- Active WA or Compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Level-3 or higher ED
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC or ATCN, NIHSS, and CPI or MOAB
- Must pass a Traveler Telemetry Competency Exam
- Epic EMR experience required
- At least one supervisor-level reference (Charge Nurse, Manager, Director, or above) required for consideration; a second reference will be needed prior to start
