Description
American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience for a 13-week night shift contract at a Level III Trauma Center.
Details
- Level III Trauma Center with 131 beds, working within the Ultrasound department
- Patient population includes inpatient, outpatient, ER, procedures, and biopsies
- Proficiency with OB, abdomen, thyroid, and general ultrasound exams required; vascular experience is not needed
- Uses Epic EMR and PACS
- 10-hour night shifts: Sunday and Saturday 7:30 PM–5:30 AM, Monday and Friday 9:00 PM–7:00 AM
- 40 hours per week
- Possible on-call requirements, though minimal
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound technologist experience
- Current ARDMS certification and BLS required
- License required if applicable
- Competency with OB, abdominal, thyroid, and general sonography exams
- Experience with Epic EMR and PACS preferred
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- One reference required at time of consideration; a second reference from a supervisor or above (Charge Nurse, Manager, Director, etc.) will be needed prior to start
- Any scrub color is acceptable
