Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a CVICU position in California, requiring AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications with weekend and holiday availability.
Details
- Position is based in a hospital CVICU (Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit)
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Requires working 4 weekend shifts per 4-week cycle
- At least one holiday shift required, including the holiday weekend
- Floating required to like units or lower acuity units across the organization (excluding the ED)
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current certifications required: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS
- CVICU or cardiovascular critical care nursing experience required
- All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
- Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
