Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week travel contract requiring Level 1 trauma experience, Epic proficiency, and a MA RN license.
Details
- Work in a state-of-the-art Emergency Department at a Level 1 trauma center in Burlington, MA
- 44-bed ED spanning over 45,000 sq ft, featuring private treatment rooms, a behavioral health suite, fast-track area, imaging suite, and pharmacy
- Cares for patients presenting with traumatic injuries and acute medical emergencies requiring immediate intervention
- Charting performed in Epic EMR
- 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend shift required
- Two holiday shifts required
- Floating is not required
Requirements
- Active MA RN license in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of emergency department nursing experience
- Level 1 trauma center experience required
- Epic EMR experience required

- Provides nursing care to patients experiencing traumatic injuries and acute medical emergencies

- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- All previous Beth Israel Lahey Health employees (travel, permanent, or per diem) must have a minimum 6-month break from any BILH facility before being considered
- Excessive time off requests will not be considered, particularly around the holidays
- COVID vaccine with booster and flu vaccine required; medical exemptions are accepted
