Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a MA RN license, telemetry experience, and prior travel nursing experience.
Details
- Position is located in a hospital Emergency Department setting
- 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- 8-week contract
- Floating to a sister facility may be required
- No on-call responsibilities
- No charge nurse duties required
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience required
- Minimum 1 year of prior travel nursing experience required
- Flu vaccine required; declinations are not accepted
- COVID vaccine and booster required (medical exemptions allowed)
Additional Information
- A telemetry/ECG pass-or-fail test will be administered on the first day; failure may result in assignment termination — study materials will be provided upon assignment confirmation
- Biweekly orientation schedule
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
- All previous employees of any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility (travel, per diem, or permanent) must have a minimum 6-month break before being considered for this position
