Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Float Pool Med/Surg Telemetry position in Plymouth, MA, requiring at least 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience and the ability to pass a pre-assignment Telemetry and Medication competency exam.
Details
- Float Pool position serving Med/Surg Telemetry and overflow/like units
- 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 36 hours per week
- Weekends and holidays required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active MA RN license currently in hand
- Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
- Must be able to pass a Telemetry/ECG and Medication competency test prior to assignment start (85% passing score, one attempt only, no remediation)
- Documented professional development activities required
- Charge Nurse experience preferred
Additional Information
- Float to like units and overflow areas as needed
- Dysrhythmia and Medication tests are administered remotely via Zoom prior to the assignment start — candidates should prepare thoroughly using the provided study guide, as there is no opportunity for re-testing
- Orientation is held biweekly
- Candidates must be available for a hiring manager interview — please have your available dates and times ready
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
- Candidates who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health (travel, permanent, or per diem) must have a minimum 6-month break from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility before being considered
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- COVID vaccine (including booster) and Flu vaccine required; medical exemptions are accepted
