Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Clarksville, TN, requiring prior travel experience and a TN or compact RN license.
Details
- Emergency Department (ED) setting in a 270-bed hospital with a 44-bed ED unit
- General population patient age range served
- Patient ratios of 1:4–5
- 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week
- Weekend and holiday coverage required
- Schedule flexibility required to meet unit needs; block schedules and schedule requests cannot be accommodated
- Cerner EMR experience is strongly preferred
- No floating required
- No charge nurse responsibilities required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active TN or compact (multistate) RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
Additional Information
- Navy scrubs required
- Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are accepted but at a different rate
- First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
