Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment at a Level III Trauma Center, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and ARDMS certification.
Details
- 131-bed Level III Trauma Center
- Ultrasound department serving inpatient, outpatient, ER, procedural, and biopsy patient populations
- Typical schedule is 10-hour mid shifts Friday through Sunday (1:00 PM - 11:30 PM) plus one additional varied shift, with possible option for 12-hour shifts
- Schedule may vary week to week
- Minimal on-call required
- 40 hours per week
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience
- ARDMS certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
- Proficiency in Epic EMR required
- Competency in OB, abdominal, thyroid, and general ultrasound required; vascular experience not required
- Experience with PACS required
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- One reference required at time of consideration; a second reference from a supervisor or above (Charge Nurse, Manager, Director, etc.) will be required prior to start
- Any color scrubs accepted
- Candidates will complete a SimpliFi clinical interview as part of the hiring process
