Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment at a Level III Trauma Center, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and ARDMS certification.

Details

• 131-bed Level III Trauma Center
• Ultrasound department serving inpatient, outpatient, ER, procedural, and biopsy patient populations
• Typical schedule is 10-hour mid shifts Friday through Sunday (1:00 PM - 11:30 PM) plus one additional varied shift, with possible option for 12-hour shifts
• Schedule may vary week to week
• Minimal on-call required
• 40 hours per week

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience
• ARDMS certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Proficiency in Epic EMR required
• Competency in OB, abdominal, thyroid, and general ultrasound required; vascular experience not required
• Experience with PACS required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• One reference required at time of consideration; a second reference from a supervisor or above (Charge Nurse, Manager, Director, etc.) will be required prior to start
• Any color scrubs accepted
