Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Inpatient Rehab RN with traumatic brain injury experience and a BSN for a night shift contract position requiring a PA or compact RN license.

Details

  • Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting
  • Adult and geriatric patient population
  • Average daily census of 12 patients
  • Typical patient ratio of 1:4-6
  • TBI and general rehab cases
  • Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7p-7a)
  • Every 3rd weekend required (Saturday and Sunday)
  • Holiday coverage required for Labor Day, Thanksgiving, or Christmas
  • No floating required
  • No on-call requirements
  • Charting system: Epic

Requirements

  • Active PA RN license or compact RN license required
  • BSN required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of inpatient rehab experience required
  • Traumatic brain injury (TBI) experience required
  • Med/surg experience preferred
  • Epic EMR experience preferred
  • 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Navy blue scrubs required
  • Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be considered but at a different pay rate
  • RTO requests must be submitted at time of application — requests submitted after will not be accepted

Amanda has been awesome throughout my assignment. She checks in regularly with a call or text just to see how things are going and make sure I don’t need anything. That level of support has really stood out to me. I’m rly happy I chose American Traveler for my first assignment, and I wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again.
