Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step Down/Progressive Care Unit position in Port Huron, MI, requiring at least 2 years of step down experience and strong cardiac proficiency.
Details
- Night shift position with hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 12-hour shifts in a Step Down/Progressive Care Unit
- Every other weekend requirement
- No on-call responsibilities
- Floating to other units is required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active Michigan (MI) RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
- Minimum 2 years of Step Down experience required
- Strong cardiac experience and proficiency required
Additional Information
- Responsible for delivery of nursing care within the Step Down unit scope of practice, following hospital policies, nursing process guidelines, and standards of care
- Travel experience is preferred but not required
- No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for the duration of the contract
