Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab, Vascular, and Neuro-IR experience in an OR setting for a 13-week night shift contract at a Level I Trauma Center.

Details

• Interventional Radiology OR setting with 5 procedure suites, staffed with 1-2 techs per room
• Works across Neuro and Vascular Interventional OR suites
• Patient population includes cardiac, neurological, vascular, oncology, and stroke cases
• Procedures include advanced cardiac cases with endo and open surgery combinations, stents, and stroke interventions
• Equipment includes 2 Philips and 3 Siemens imaging systems
• 12-hour night shifts, Wednesday through Friday, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week
• No required call associated with this position
• Candidates living within 75 miles of the facility are accepted but at a different rate

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience in an OR setting required; structural heart experience preferred
• Vascular and Neuro-IR experience required
• EP experience highly preferred
• Prior travel experience preferred
• ARRT certification required; license required if applicable
• Current BLS required
• Experience with Philips and/or Siemens imaging systems preferred
• Must be able to work night shifts in a high-acuity OR environment

Additional Information

• Assist with advanced cardiac procedures involving combinations of endovascular and open surgical approaches
• Work performed within a stroke-accredited, Level I Trauma Center
• May be required to stay past scheduled shift end if cases are still in progress
• Prior travel experience is preferred for this position
