Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg travel position in Saginaw, MI, requiring at least 2 years of Med/Surg experience and an active Michigan RN license.
Details
- General Med/Surg unit serving a diverse patient population including oncology, observation, hospice, medical, and surgical patients
- Night shift position, 7:00 PM – 7:15 AM, 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
- No on-call responsibilities
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active Michigan (MI) RN license required — must be verified Active on LARA and/or Nursys
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
- Med/Surg observation experience required
- Current Med/Surg skills checklist (within the last year) required for consideration
- 2 supervisory reference forms completed within the last 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized patient care in accordance with established unit policies and procedures
- Oversees and delegates components of the patient care plan to unit staff
- Works under the supervision of the Med/Surg Nurse Manager
- Local candidates are welcome to apply — candidates within a 50-mile radius of the facility are eligible but limited to one 13-week contract
- No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
