Description
American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer for a system-wide float pool outpatient setting, requiring ARDMS or CCI registration and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Details
- Outpatient setting across multiple clinic locations, including Eden, Burlington, Magnolia, MC HP, and DB
- Echo and vascular sonography scope, covering adult patient population
- Procedures include abdominal aorta, arterial graft studies, carotid, color flow, Doppler studies, duplex, lower extremity arterial and venous, M-Mode, renal artery duplex, transcranial Doppler, and upper extremity arterial and venous studies
- Uses Philips ultrasound equipment and PACS
- Epic EMR — experience is mandatory
- 5x8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, between 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM
- Outpatient centers operate from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM; shifts fall within this window
- Position requires floating to multiple outpatient locations; candidates will work independently on site
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Echo/Vascular Sonography experience required
- Must be registered with ARDMS or CCI; accepted credentials include RDCS and RVT, or RCS and RVS — candidates holding only RVS certification with Echo experience will also be considered
- Adult patient population experience required
- Proficiency with Philips ultrasound equipment and PACS systems
- Epic EMR experience is mandatory
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Copy of driver's license required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for this position
- A Pass/Fail EKG exam is required during compliance for this role; candidates have two attempts to pass and should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility
- The facility maintains a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
- Candidates must be comfortable working independently at outpatient locations
