Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer specializing in Vascular for a 13-week outpatient float pool assignment requiring dual ECHO and Vascular registration.
Details
- Outpatient setting within a multi-site float pool, with potential rotation to locations including Eden, Burlington, Magnolia, MC HP, and DB
- Candidate will work independently at float locations
- Adult patient population
- Procedures include Abdominal Aorta, Aortic studies, Arterial Graft Studies, Carotid, Color Flow, Doppler Studies, Duplex, Lower and Upper Extremity Arterial and Venous, M-Mode, Renal Artery Duplex, and Transcranial Doppler
- Equipment includes Philips ultrasound systems and PACS
- EMR: Epic (mandatory)
- 5x8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, between 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM
- Outpatient centers operate from 7:00 AM–5:00 PM; shifts fall within this window
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of sonography experience required
- Registration with ARDMS or CCI required; candidates must hold either RDCS and RVT, or RCS and RVS — candidates with only RVS certification and Echo experience will be considered
- Epic EMR experience is mandatory
- Adult patient population experience required
- License required if applicable
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Copy of driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
- All candidates must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance (two attempts allowed); candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility
- The facility maintains a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
- Candidates must be comfortable working in an outpatient setting and independently at float locations
