Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Burlington, MA, requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of ED experience.
Details
- Work in a state-of-the-art Emergency Department featuring 44 beds across 45,000 sq ft, private treatment rooms, a behavioral health suite, fast-track area, imaging suite, and pharmacy
- Patient population includes trauma cases and acute medical emergencies requiring immediate care
- 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend shifts required
- Two holiday shifts required
- Float not required
- Epic EMR used for patient assessment, care documentation, and medication administration; experience required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required and must be in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required
- Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience required
- Level 1 trauma center experience required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- All previous Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) employees — including travel, permanent, and per diem — must have a minimum 6-month break from any BILH facility before being considered
- COVID vaccine with booster and flu vaccine required; medical exemptions are accepted
- Excessive time off requests, particularly around the holidays, will not be considered
