Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week travel contract in Vallejo, CA, requiring a valid CA RN license and at least one year of recent critical care experience.

Details

• ICU (Intensive Care Unit) setting in a hospital environment
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12-hour shifts)
• 36 hours per week
• Uses Epic EMR
• Local candidates are accepted

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required — no pending certifications accepted
• Minimum 1 year of recent full-time ICU or critical care nursing experience (within the last 3 years)
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• BSN or related degree preferred
• 2 years of recent ICU experience preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred
• CCRN preferred
• Dialysis, SLED, or equivalent experience preferred

Additional Information

• Epic EMR experience applicable to this ICU environment
• Travelers who have worked on assignment with this health system may be subject to tenure limitations requiring a 90-day break after reaching two cumulative years of contingent work
