Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a critical need night shift position in Vallejo, CA, requiring a valid CA RN license and at least one year of recent ICU experience.

• Position is in an ICU setting at a hospital in Vallejo, CA
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
• 36 hours per week
• Epic EMR is used at this facility
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required — pending licensure not accepted
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required — must be active at time of consideration; pending certifications not accepted
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience (within the last 3 years) required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Last 4 digits of SSN and DOB required for consideration
• 2 years of recent ICU experience preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
• CCRN preferred
• Experience with dialysis, SLED, or equivalent preferred
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred

• Local candidates are accepted — local and travel rates are the same
• Travelers who have worked with this health system may not exceed a cumulative two years on assignment without a 90-day break, regardless of continuity or gaps less than three months
