Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with acute care experience and an active WA license for a 13-week assignment at a short-term acute care Level III Trauma Center.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting at a Level III Trauma Center with 104 staffed beds
- OT Acute Care unit with floating required between all facilities within the state
- Caseload of 8–9 patients per day
- Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Weekend rotation required: 1 weekend every 4 weeks
- Charting via Epic (required)
- Scrubs: any color accepted
Requirements
- Active Washington State OT license required (in hand at time of consideration)
- Minimum 2 years of OT experience required
- Acute care experience required
- Inpatient rehabilitation (IPR) experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- Active BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Float between all facilities within the state is expected; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
- Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility (location and dates) as part of the consideration process
