Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) position at a critical access hospital in Montana, requiring 3+ years of recent LDRP experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Work setting is a 22-bed critical access hospital
• LDRP unit covering Labor & Delivery, triage, and postpartum care
• Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:6 depending on patient type and acuity
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating between all facilities within the state is expected
• On-call required up to once per pay period (PRN)
• Epic EMR experience required
• OR scrubs provided; any scrub color is acceptable
• No parking fees

Requirements

• Active MT RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of recent LDRP experience required, covering L&D, triage, and postpartum
• Prior travel nursing experience required — seasoned travelers only
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidate must be able to provide L&D, triage, and postpartum care across the LDRP unit
• Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in termination of the assignment
• Former permanent staff of the health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
• Candidates who previously worked at a Providence facility (permanent, travel, or per-diem) must disclose the location and dates of employment
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Minimal RTO is expected for this position; a few days may be approved but excessive RTO requests are discouraged
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
