Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in Washington State, with previous charge experience required and first-time travelers welcome.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab setting with both inpatient and outpatient cases
- Procedures and skills include stress tests, vital sign acquisition, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, sinus node rhythms, and Holter monitoring
- 3x12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- No call required
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
- Previous charge experience required
- Active WA state license required (license required if applicable)
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
- Preferred certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT Advanced Certification
- Experience with recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, sinus node rhythms, Holter monitoring, and obtaining vitals
- Proficiency in Epic EMR required
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are accepted for this position
- Former permanent staff of this facility must have been separated for at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Former permanent employees of other (non-Swedish) Providence facilities are eligible for a travel contract after a separation of at least 3 months
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
- Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility, including location and dates
