Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in Washington State, with previous charge experience required and first-time travelers welcome.

Details

Cardiac Cath Lab setting with both inpatient and outpatient cases
Procedures and skills include stress tests, vital sign acquisition, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, sinus node rhythms, and Holter monitoring
3x12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
No call required
Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
Previous charge experience required
Active WA state license required (license required if applicable)
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
Preferred certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT Advanced Certification
Experience with recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, sinus node rhythms, Holter monitoring, and obtaining vitals
Proficiency in Epic EMR required
Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

First-time travelers are accepted for this position
Former permanent staff of this facility must have been separated for at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot reside within 50 miles of the facility
Former permanent employees of other (non-Swedish) Providence facilities are eligible for a travel contract after a separation of at least 3 months
Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility, including location and dates

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my first travel assignment. American Traveler has made the entire process feel easy from start to finish.
