Description
American Traveler is hiring an Inpatient Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week contract featuring a Monday–Friday day shift schedule with weekend on-call rotation.
Details
- Inpatient rehab and swing bed unit setting
- Day shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
- Patient ratio of 1:7
- Weekend on-call required approximately 1 weekend every 5 weekends
- May float to LTAC and inpatient units at a separate facility
- Charting performed in Cerner PowerChart
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of OT experience required
- NBCOT certification required
- BLS certification preferred
- Active OT license required if applicable
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Provide occupational therapy services in an inpatient rehab and swing bed setting
- Floating to LTAC and inpatient units at an affiliated location may be required
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
- All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the consideration process
