Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring strong MS/Tele and Neuro skills with Epic EMR experience.
Details
- Med/Surg Telemetry (MS/Tele) unit in a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30)
- 36 hours per week
- 13 or 26 week contract options available
- Floating to other units and/or campuses within the health system may be required based on census needs; travelers will only float to units for which they are qualified and competencies are documented
Requirements
- Active SC or compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 1 year of recent MS/Tele unit experience required
- Strong Neuro skills required
- Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
- Social Security Number and Driver's License required for consideration
- Two professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from all Prisma Health facilities to be eligible for this travel position at the standard rate
- Candidates residing between 90–99.9 miles from any Prisma Health facility may be considered at a reduced rate
- For day shift MS/Tele positions, the standard 100-mile system-wide rule applies; the 50-mile exception applies to night shift only for this unit type
