Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown/Intermediate Care (Progressive Cardiac Care) night shift position requiring at least 1 year of experience and active IN or compact RN licensure.
Details
- Stepdown/Intermediate Care unit in a hospital setting
- Patient population includes medical, cardiac, pre/post cardiovascular surgery, arrhythmia, heart failure, and stroke overflow patients
- 28-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:4-5
- Night shift hours: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active IN or compact RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (both must be AHA-issued)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
- Full SSN and full DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provides nursing care to progressive cardiac patients including those recovering from CV surgery and managing arrhythmias, heart failure, and stroke
