Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/EP position requiring 2 years of Cath Lab experience, multi-site floating, and on-call availability across a 13-week assignment.
Details
- Work in a hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting
- Scheduled 4 days per week, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- On-call required based on department needs, with approximately 16 days of rotating call across two hospital sites
- Floating required between two Cath Lab sites, as well as within skill set at additional sites within 40 miles
- Every 3rd weekend rotation shared between both sites
- Holiday rotation required across both sites
- 13-week contract
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active WI or Compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
- Nursys license verification required prior to start
- Full Social Security Number, full date of birth, Driver's License copy, 2 professional references, skills checklist, and copies of certifications required for consideration
Additional Information
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Experience assisting with buddy call and training new staff is a plus
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Local candidates are accepted, though a radius-based reduced rate may apply depending on distance from the facility
- COVID vaccination is not required
