Description
American Traveler is hiring a licensed Occupational Therapist for a 13-week travel contract at a remote rural hospital in Oregon, working four 10-hour shifts Friday through Monday.

- Rural, remote hospital setting in Oregon
- Rehabilitation therapy unit focused on physical disability and general rehabilitation
- Schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week, Friday through Monday

Requirements
- Active Oregon OT license required (license required if applicable)
- Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an AAOTA-accredited program
- Current CPR/BLS certification required
- Valid Oregon driver's license required
- Knowledge of occupational therapy as it relates to physical disability, rehabilitation, general medicine, surgical, and mental health concepts
- DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

- This facility is in a highly remote location — the nearest major airport (Reno, NV) is approximately 3.5–4 hours away; candidates should be fully prepared for and committed to this remote setting before applying
- Evaluates patients and plans, directs, or performs educational, vocational, and recreational therapeutic activities designed to restore maximum function
- Collaborates with patients' families and interdisciplinary health team members regarding patient abilities and goals
- Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills are essential in this collaborative care environment
- Rehabilitation certifications such as ASHA, CHT, or ACP Training may be relevant to this role
