Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Ultrasound Technologist with 2+ years of acute care experience and required RVT, OB, and ABD credentials for a 13-week assignment in Walnut Creek, CA.

Details

• Work in an acute care hospital ultrasound department
• 8-hour rotating shifts, 40 hours per week, including Saturday and Sunday AM and PM shifts, with variable AM/PM shifts during the week
• On-call availability as needed by the department
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent, acute care ultrasound experience
• Required credentials: RVT (vascular), OB, and ABD
• Current BLS certification
• Active state license required if applicable
• Two clinical references required from the last two places of employment, covering the last year of employment, from someone in a leadership role (e.g., nurse manager, charge nurse); references must include facility name, dates of employment, specialty, and name and title of the reference
• Seven-year employment history required, including facility names, specialties, and dates; gaps of more than 30 days must include an explanation
• Current skills checklist required (valid within the past year)
• Pediatric and emergency department ultrasound experience preferred
• Prior travel experience preferred

Additional Information

• Performs general sonography including vascular, OB, and abdominal studies
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
