Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 18 months of recent ER experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 11:00 to 23:30
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license (Standard or Compact) required in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum of 18 months recent permanent ER experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (AHA)
• One recent professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the ER specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Co-worker references will not be accepted

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment will be completed during orientation, with up to two attempts allowed to pass
• PBDS assessment is waived for this position
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• Nurses are temporarily exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Assignments may extend up to a maximum of 18 consecutive months, with a required 6-month break before returning to another assignment at this health system
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• Background check results with any open cases will not be accepted
• License hits are not accepted by the facility
