Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Ambulatory Care position requiring a CA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of telemetry and ACU/PACU experience.

Details

  • Ambulatory Care unit in an acute hospital setting
  • Patient population includes telemetry and ambulatory care patients requiring individualized, holistic nursing care
  • Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts with start times between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM
  • Weekend rotation required
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required
  • Current BLS certification (AHA)
  • Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience required
  • Minimum 2 years of ACU/PACU experience required
  • Two supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate

Additional Information

  • Responsible for assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care
  • Develops and implements individualized care plans incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors
  • Maintains collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely communication
  • Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
  • Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my first travel assignment. American Traveler has made the entire process feel easy from start to finish. Amanda has been awesome throughout my assignment. She checks in regularly with a call or text just to see how things are going and make sure I don’t need anything. That level of support has really stood out to me. I’m rly happy I chose American Traveler for my first assignment, and I wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again.
