Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Ambulatory Care position requiring a CA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of telemetry and ACU/PACU experience.
Details
- Ambulatory Care unit in an acute hospital setting
- Patient population includes telemetry and ambulatory care patients requiring individualized, holistic nursing care
- Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts with start times between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM
- Weekend rotation required
- No on-call responsibilities
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience required
- Minimum 2 years of ACU/PACU experience required
- Two supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
Additional Information
- Responsible for assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care
- Develops and implements individualized care plans incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors
- Maintains collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely communication
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract
