Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position at a 325-bed acute care hospital in Washington, requiring ICU experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting with 325 staffed beds
- Interventional Radiology unit performing CT-guided biopsies, fistulograms, GJ-tube placements, lower extremity angiograms, nuclear med/stress tests, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and Y90 procedures
- Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00–17:30
- Weekend coverage varies depending on staffing, approximately every 3–4 weekends
- On-call responsibilities include one overnight weekday call shift (17:00–07:00) every other week, plus one weekend call shift (Friday 17:00–Monday 07:00) every 4–6 weeks
- Charting in Epic (experience required)
- Floating between all facilities within the state is required
Requirements
- Active WA RN license or compact RN license (pending license accepted, though quick starts are preferred)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of IR experience required; 3–5 years preferred
- ICU experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
- Candidates with a permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for a travel contract
- Former permanent employees of the facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- RTO is permitted, though keeping requests under 7 days total is preferred
