Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced L&D RN for a night shift travel contract at a short-term acute care hospital in Portland, OR, with Epic EMR experience required and multi-facility floating expected.
Details
- Labor & Delivery unit at a 418-bed short-term acute care hospital in Portland, OR
- Patient ratios of 1:1 for laboring patients or 1:3 for mother-baby couplets
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- On-call required when a shift is not available
- Floating between units within the facility is expected based on unit needs
- Travelers may be floated to other facilities across Oregon, including Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent
- Charting via Epic (experience required)
- No parking fee
Requirements
- Active Oregon RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of L&D RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- A personal vehicle is required for this assignment
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Scrubs are provided for L&D
- Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment
- Former permanent employees of this health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Minimal RTO is expected for this position; a few days may be approved, but significant RTO requests may impact eligibility
- Local candidates are accepted for this position
